There is a fly stuck in the margarine
The bread has gone rock hard
The kids are fighting and the mozzies are biting

There is bull ants in the esky
And the beer is running out
And what you saw in mum‘s coleslaw
You just do not think about
And when the barbie‘s over
And you are homeward once again
With a queasy tummy in the family dunny
Many lonely hours you will spend
