Holy Month of Ramadan Returns
Old Traditions to Dubai Holidays
Dubai, United Arab Emirates (10 August 2010): Dubai holidays will be extra special during Ramadan as Atlantis, The Palm presents a range of traditional folklore and fun.
This includes Asateer, a spectacular tent with six dedicated Majlis areas, prayer rooms and complimentary valet parking.
Overlooking the Arabian Gulf and The Palm, Asateer will evoke sensations of nostalgia for the golden era of Arabia. Asateer, meaning “myths”, will be the perfect place to enjoy your Dubai holidays.
The tent will provide an ambience filled with time-honoured activities, including card games, chess and backgammon, taking guests on a legendary trip to old Arabia.
With a nod to authentic street food, guests can enjoy traditional foul nabet being prepared in the time-honoured trolley. Asateer will also offer a traditional Iftar buffet and Suhour will be offered nightly from 9pm.
In addition, guests can enjoy Ramadan at Levantine, the fine Dubai restaurant offering a true taste of Arabia and featuring the cuisines of the region.
And Kaleidoscope will be offering traditional Ramadan favourites alongside a range of delicious international dishes including specialities from India and Italy.
The interactive, open kitchens feature live cooking stations and an impressive Iftar buffet. Kaleidoscope is a favourite Dubai restaurant of many and features a primarily Mediterranean menu with North African and Indian speciality dishes.
After a good night’s sleep in one of the relaxing Dubai hotel rooms, breakfast can be enjoyed at Saffron, the interactive buffet with over 20 live cooking stations.
All hotel room rates at Atlantis include unlimited complimentary access to Aquaventure, the region’s largest water park and The Lost Chambers, which brings the myth of Atlantis to life through a maze of underground tunnels.
Guests at Atlantis during Ramadan will also be able to enjoy their experiences well into the evening. During Ramadan, The Avenues, a sophisticated retail promenade featuring over two dozen shops, will remain open until midnight so guests can continue their Dubai shopping into the evening.
The Royal Pool at Atlantis will also be open until midnight so resort guests can enjoy the sophisticated serene experience even after the sun has set before retiring to their Dubai hotel rooms. Finally, kids can enjoy the nights of Ramadan at the Atlantis Kids Club. The Club will remain open until midnight offering specialized programmes in “edutainment”.
Atlantis, The Palm transports guests into a dazzling, imaginative world. The resort encompasses a 46-hectare site with 17 hectares of water-themed amusement at Aquaventure, extensive fresh and salt-water pools and lagoon exhibits, an open-aired marine habitat second only to Mother Nature, a seemingly endless stretch of beach, luxury boutiques, numerous dining choices, an exciting nightlife experience, a Spa and Fitness Centre, and 5,600m² of meeting and function space.
With its enviable location atop the crescent of The Palm Jumeirah, Atlantis redefines tourism in Dubai as the first truly integrated entertainment resort.
