Denise Lynn comes to her art from a very special place. She blends her calling as a healer into her passion as an artist to create multi-media works that reflect far more than three dimensions.
Her first showing last year proved wildly successful as collectors raved about her "enlightened art" and praised it as a "union of spirit and beauty." Lynn quickly sold more than a dozen pieces, an impressive day¹s work for a veteran artist, astonishing for a newcomer.
Her latest works show a bold new direction, which is just what they are about: The paths we all travel. She explores the often elusive connection between the two planes, spirit and mind as well as love and light.
Lynn's collections are at first glance a series of acrylic on canvas with a multi media interactive flare. Upon further regard, intricate tapestries of meaning and detail emerge, replete with the subtleties of her vision and the symbolism of fundamental truths like inspiration, courage and discovery.
As her works are an extension of her healing arts, her sincere wish is that people derive a sense of hope and enlightenment from her pieces, that they become beneficent talismans in their homes. "Art will find people who are open to look deeper within," Lynn said. "They can find the essence and energy of whatever I might have channeled when I created it. It can bring light, connection, or reveal a part of themselves they might never have seen."
Her art comes instinctively, a channeling of inspirations that often layer image and substance. "This time out, I'm braver, less concerned of what people might think and more adventurous with the themes and ideas that I care about." She added. "I'm expressing more about how we can make a difference, even if it's just in our own little part of the world."
Lynn makes herself available for individual and corporate commissioned paintings, which include a personalized session to set the intuitive intention of the artwork. The pieces capture the intuitively channeled essence of the person, family, home or business. Her goal is to have joy, happiness and healing pouring through this medium of art into the world.
