Lola what can one say? You have an amazing taste in books. I have read “ Tears Of The Renegade” and it was amazing
At first, the plot reminded me very much of “ Paradise“” by Judith McNaught as in how the hero wanted to avenge the people who wronged him in the past by buying their loans and driving them to liquidating their stock hence leading the whole lot to bankruptcy. Then came the shock , the hero was not after revenge , he was after controlling the family owned business and that I found was very re -freshing
For once the hero doesn’t think he was a god and must take the responsibility himself of righting a wrong. He shaves too!! heheh!! There was a nice scene in the story describing this glorious event. Yes, glorious because you rarely find stories depicting heroes as human beings, they always revolve around the heroines, their periods, them getting pregnant and historic!! You would think guys don’t have needs except in bed
I also liked him because he felt sorry for not loving his first wife when she changed and let go. Sometimes when people change you just stop loving them
The heroine was superb!! Again it was re-freshing to have a heroine that doesn’t escape from troubles and take responsibility for her decisions and actions. I love her gut!! Lightening indeed struck her twice!! The hero was her second go at love and a lot of the love
scenes were during storms and tornadoes !! hehehe! I don’t know what that was all about
I am definitely checking Sommanha’s recommendation next
