malak..welcome here sweety..um..i have to say that i have only read 3 or so historical novels but i really liked them..but i barely read these days so i try to pick something short to enjoy so i end up with modern..but you are soo right..they are always the same and with no real romance..getting into bed is the new in apparently..i wish i could put my hands on one of the old novels like before..even in Arabic would be better ..because they bring back memories i
