13,745 Presets for FM8
"I suspect there are a few people who didn't convert all their FM7 Presets to FM8 format.
Well here they all are (Minus the SYX files) in EASY FM8 Format. I didn't think I'd bother with those consider there are 13,000 Presets right here. (It will take you a lifetime to get through these)."
Considering the sonic possibilities of FM8 - the SYX wern't really required
Mini Tutorial for FM8
Have you tried dragging 4 instruments up to any one of the four squares in the MINI Morph pad at the top of FM8 and then using the large "Easy/Morph" tab/pad and the "random" Morph scroll bars at the top and right of it to seemlessly more between four instruments? It sounds smoother if you turn on one of the MANY global FX in the Effects tab. (This is because the Effect is the common to ALL four sounds which provides smoother morphing). Then go in and turn the Appregiator on. It's the easiest ARP I've used. Ultimate power trip.
It's one of the most amazing "INSTANT NEW SOUND" tools I've ever used. I was so happy with it - I bought the Company.
(Well, FM8!).
How to Install Presets:
Extract these files to your:
"C:********s and SettingsMy ********sNative InstrumentsShared *******Sounds" Folder.
So:
"C:********s and SettingsMy ********sNative InstrumentsShared *******SoundsFM8!!MY SAVED SOUNDS!!"
"C:********s and SettingsMy ********sNative InstrumentsShared *******SoundsFM8Adam Van Baker FM7 Soundset"
"C:********s and SettingsMy ********sNative InstrumentsShared *******SoundsFM8Antagonia"
Etc. Etc. Etc
